Our Services

Viji Sports Academy provides live online chess education and training programs.

The Academy currently offers:

• A mandatory one-to-one evaluation session
• Rating-based learning modules
• Live online group classes
• Different schedules and tuition fees depending on the selected level

Program details, schedules, fees and availability may change from time to time.

Evaluation

The evaluation session is a 30-minute one-to-one session consisting of assessment and discussion. The evaluation is required before enrollment into a masterclass level.

The evaluation fee is currently $25 per person, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

Classes

Masterclasses are conducted online according to the schedule communicated at enrollment.

Students are expected to:

• Attend classes on time
• Follow the instructor's directions
• Maintain respectful behaviour
• Avoid disruptive or abusive conduct
• Use the online class only for its intended educational purpose

Enrollment and Fees

Applicable fees will be displayed before payment.

Tuition varies according to the selected level and may change for future enrollments.

Payment of the applicable fee confirms the student's enrollment subject to availability and these Terms & Conditions.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Any refund will be processed according to the applicable refund terms and payment-provider procedures.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, lesson plans, curriculum, videos, documents, exercises, recordings and other educational content provided by Viji Sports Academy are intended for personal educational use only.

Students may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publish or commercially exploit Academy materials without prior written permission.

Online Classes and Technology

Students are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and software required to participate in online classes.

Viji Sports Academy will make reasonable efforts to conduct classes according to the published schedule but cannot be responsible for interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Changes to Services

We may modify class schedules, instructors, curriculum, fees or other aspects of the service where reasonably necessary. Material changes affecting an already-paid service will be communicated where appropriate.

Limitation of Liability

Viji Sports Academy provides educational chess training but does not guarantee a particular rating, tournament result, ranking, title or competitive outcome.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India, unless another jurisdiction is legally applicable based on the relevant transaction or consumer.

Viji Sports Academy provides online chess evaluation and live instructional services. Because these services involve scheduled instructor time and reserved class capacity, cancellation and refund terms apply.

Evaluation Class

The evaluation class costs $25 per person.

If a student needs to cancel or reschedule an evaluation, the request should be made at least 8 hours before the scheduled session.

Masterclass Enrollment

Masterclass fees are charged according to the selected level and enrollment terms.

Refund eligibility will depend on when the cancellation request is received and whether the relevant classes or services have already been provided.

Missed Classes

If a student misses a scheduled class, the fee will generally not be refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Where a class is cancelled by Viji Sports Academy, the Academy may provide a replacement class, rescheduling option or refund, as appropriate.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be initiated through the original payment method or payment provider, subject to applicable payment-processing timelines.

Exceptions

We may consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

• Abusive or threatening behaviour
• Discrimination

• Sharing another student's personal information
• Unauthorized recording or distribution of classes

For students who are minors, parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing the necessary consent and relevant contact information where required.

The Academy may take appropriate action, including removal from a class or suspension of access, where serious misconduct occurs, subject to applicable terms and law.
